This policy is part of the Tenant Terms with Ninjaneers Pty Ltd (ABN 68 697 870 643), which runs Pickup Line. It applies to every business that uses Pickup Line and its staff.
What Pickup Line is for
Pickup Line answers inbound calls for your own business with an AI assistant, takes messages, and passes them to you. It is an answering service only.
You must not
- use it to make outbound calls, cold calls, telemarketing or marketing messages. It does not support them;
- use it to mislead or deceive callers, including by pretending the assistant is a person;
- remove, shorten or talk over the recording and AI announcement, or ignore a caller's objection to recording;
- use it for emergency services, or as your only way of receiving emergency calls;
- use it to ask for health information, payment card or bank account details, passwords, identity document numbers or other sensitive information through the assistant. Ordinary contact details needed for a callback, such as a name, phone number and job address, are fine;
- put unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing or discriminatory content in your rules or business information, or content that infringes anyone's rights;
- instruct the assistant to give advice that could cause serious harm if wrong, such as safety-critical, medical or legal advice;
- share your sign-in details, or let people use the service who are not authorised by your business;
- forward calls to Pickup Line from numbers you are not entitled to use;
- try to break, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or avoid call limits or billing;
- publish or share recordings or transcripts in a way that breaks the law or callers' rights;
- use the service to build or train another AI product.
What we may do
If we reasonably believe a breach has happened, or the service is causing harm or legal risk, we may limit, pause or end it. We act reasonably and proportionately, explain the grounds, and give notice and a chance to fix the problem where practicable, as set out in the Tenant Terms. We may act immediately where needed to stop serious harm.
Reporting a problem
To report misuse, email [email protected], or write to Ninjaneers Pty Ltd at PO Box 502, Caloundra QLD 4551.
